Reflecting on my experience getting my clothing label off the ground, it dawned on me that most of the people I had chosen to do business with were women. People often say that that women seek to undermine each other but my experience has been the opposite. So far, it’s been a great partnership with all of them: professional and result-driven but also relaxed and friendly. I am glad there are female entrepreneurs in the fashion industry to do business with and that my line's very existence is an embodiment of sisterhood.
